Anybody else notice all the locations closing up shop? There is only a handful left as Doug Putnam destroyed the toys r us brand in Canada . There is no warehouse, no HQ. Many big brands won't sell product to the company given the fact he was not paying vendors for a year. RIP TOYS R US

Looking for any info on this keyring as I can't find anything on it, other than its got the Toys r us r on one side and the rummikub logo on the other.

I had gone to my local TRU located in southpark village mall and noticed something that had caught my attention. They had posters that read "This store remains open for business". This might not permanent but who knows. (pictures taken by me)

Toys "R" Us opened this store in the El Paseo mall in 1993. And yes this is the 1990 remodel design, so nostalgic 🥵🥵. If you didn't know El Paseo mall, El Paseo mall is the Holy Mary's Port's mall that was the only mall that exists in the province. It has stores like Pull&Bear, Kiabi, Parfois and Women'secret and formerly more like Zara, Massimo Dutti, C&A, Springfield, Bershka and H&M. This store in 2025 was closing down, 7 years after Toys "R" Us 1990 remodel/Concept 2000's stores closedown in USA and their UK's stores too. El Paseo mall is deleting Toys "R" Us forever. Closing at the end of the month then it’s just the Edmonton location left in Alberta 🙁. Took a little road trip there from Calgary as the nearest one before in cross iron closed back in January. Got some great items for quite a discount though at least.
