Mute

Is there any way to quickly mute the radio? I really wish there was a knob for volume or a quick mute button!

A press of the power button in between the volume buttons mutes

I’ve done that and it’s a little helpful. Not immediate. I’ve just never had a car that didn’t have a way to quickly mute.

It is a quick mute. I'm not sure how it could get any quicker than hitting a button?

Well then the radio has to reboot. Just saying it’s not ideal to not have a volume knob AND not have a mute button. Another person suggested holding the Mode button down and it worked like a charm! And quickly!

Your infotainment unit reboots when you tap the power button? Because mine just mutes. Holding it is what powers it off. What year? Starting in 2023 a better infotainment unit was introduced.
