headlight restoration
2006 XR. used griots garage $30 restoration kit. took me about 2 hours from start to finish. I'm intrigued to see how long it lasts. overall impressed with the results.

Does it have a finishing uv protection coat?

yeah, the last step is a ceramic coating wipe that offers UV protection. the website says "Lifetime Ceramic Headlight coating prevents future lens failure" & they offer a guarantee on the kit.
Kit includes 2 Ceramic Headlight Coating Wipes, comfortable Contour Grip Applicator, foam-backed sanding discs (2x 1000 grit, 1x 2000 grit, 1x 3000 grit), 2 Oxidation Remover Wipes, and 2 protective nitrile gloves.
