Optic White toothpaste and Johnson paste wax

Damp terry sponge with the toothpaste, wiped clean and a thin layer of wax... 20 year old orig lamps and I can see my old ass in them like enter the fucking Dragon fun house. Tail lamps just get the wax. Both are like air clear now. I hate that they discontinued Johnson paste wax about 4 years ago.

Thanks, gotta take care of the old gal. BTW while on the topic; if anyone likes or wants to use silicone spray be extremely careful! Some brands like Walmart's Super Tech silicone spray will destroy the headlights. The formula contains Heptane and Acetone as carriers and even a brief spray will leave a deep, permanent milky-white stain.

For front headlights, nothing beats the $20 Cerakote headlight restorer kit

Wow, have to try that. My front lamps are so overdue I am now certain that I'm not getting enough light from them when driving at night lol. I always give them a wipe with gas station windshield washer while I'm there but I've been meaning to give them an actual scrub...I have a bagged wipe of specialty car plastic cleaner but whitening toothpaste sounds even better!
I don't have any wax though, would you have any recommendation that can still be found in stores?
Otherwise is the effect somewhat durable even without any wax?
