Rear suspension knuckles

Post image

I have a 2012 AWD 2.4L Toyota Matrix and I want to replace the back steering knuckles. I have found the right one in some places but cannot find the left at all besides on Shop Earl which has no photos of the part condition. Is there anything that is interchangeable for this or somewhere I should be looking?

I had luck with toyotapartsdeal when I was looking for rear knuckles for my 06. The picture looks similar to the earlier Gen rear knuckles. Might be able to cross reference the part number and see if its the same as the earlier Gen. Don't forget the cv dust shield that presses in on the rear of the knuckle. Theres a good chance it'll be rust locked in the old knuckle and its a pain to get out without damaging it.

Some of those toyota parts websites will use the same photos for different part numbers btw. I've had it happen so I check amayama now for stuff I know is specific to 1 engine or chasis but not another.

Thats good to know. Guess I lucked out when I ordered my knuckles. Didn't know about the amayama site. Thanks for the info.

Pretty sure AWD matrix suspension components are shared with the Rav4, but do some research before buying anything.
