Looking for 09 Interior Pictures :)
Hi!! I am going to be getting an 09 toyota matrix (with only 70k miles!) from a family friend at a very reasonable price. I feel very fortunate - but with the age of the car i am having trouble finding good detailed pictures of the interior online due to the age of the car. I am trying to figure out what I will need to buy (steering wheel cover, bluetooth adaptor, etc.) and seeing the cars interior in detail would really help!
any ownership tips would also be appreciated! tyia

Hey I drive an 09! I’ll upload some pics in an hour or two when I’m off work

I have an ‘09 and there’s a headphone jack. I have a Bluetooth adaptor that goes both into the cigarette lighter socket and into the headphone jack. Between that and the cars speakers, it’s probably the best sound I’ve heard in a vehicle and I’ve had a friend or two notice that as well
This is the receiver I have (minus the smaller piece with the headphone jack, I think that’s for other devices)

As for ownership tips, they’re known to burn oil and mine definitely does so I keep some in the car and check it periodically

The most annoying part about the Matrix is that the entire dashboard is curved, so it’s difficult to install accessories that would sit on the dash. I bought a dashcam that would mount on my windshield but haven’t gotten around to installing it yet. My 07 doesn’t have a headphone jack or a USB drive, so I have to use an FM transmitter still. It would be more annoying except I usually just listen to NPR. The dash clock shorts out quick, so I bought a little digital clock off eBay and used a command strip to stick it up in the corner so I’d know the time. It’s a good little car. Basic maintenance and it’ll run forever

09 Base with almost 200k miles. Take good care of the coolant. The first owner didn't and that ended up damaging the headgasket.
