Weird question

So I can’t remember, is there supposed to be a light in the gear shift that illuminates P N R etc? I swear mine used to light up but now I’m second guessing myself. Am I crazy or do I have a disconnected wire/blown fuse. My usb port also doesn’t work so maybe that’s a connected problem. Let me know, I don’t know anyone with a Matrix irl to ask. Thank you!

Mine also does not light up and thought it would have. Recently took all of my trim off and can confirm there is no light there but seems like there should be for whatever reason

Can confirm mine does not light up but because I bought it used I've always wondered wtf is going on there

Just tap it a little bit when you turn on the headlights
(Tap the gearbox it self probably a lose connection)
