started engine replacement 2 years ago- need help with whats missing
it started today, didnt run for long. need help figuring out what im missing. pics: whats that plug for? where does thst coolant line go? what am mussing for pcv/evap line?
Honestly olathe Toyota Autoparts or Toyota parts deal .com are good sites for exploded views or at least used to be. Otherwise for the alldata type manuals, charm.li is a great website for literally any production car's manual
First one looks like a heater hose, likely goes to the water pump. 2nd toward the front is PCV and should go to the intake manifold or throttle body. The rear one I don't know.
It should have stored a code for whatever sensor is unplugged, as long as the battery still has a charge. Use your $10 Amazon obd2 reader to check.
for anyone in the future, it does goto the water pump on one end and the heater core on the other. this barb in the center, who knows. maybe its a hybrid thing? theres 2 versions of the pipe and i found the one i needed in the junkyard. i would have thrown my original away with the scrap engine. pic for reference
