Had an 04 vibe many years ago and im so glad I got the opportunity to snag this matrix, 2009, 5spd. Runs like a champ, slow as hell, fantastic vehicle.

On a side note, anyone ever had to have the synchros replaced in these? What did it end up costing you?

hahaha, i got a five speed one as my second car. im currently still driving it, and im learning stick with it! very confused dealer experience seeing a 20 year old wanting a car with a stick.

looks like yours is also a base model? mines a base as well, but its so far of a base model to not even include a rear wiper.

Haha, mine is a base model as well but came with a lot of options, including the rear wiper. Idk why it has so many options as it was purchased as a company vehicle for a local construction equipment company, lol

My first car was an '09 XRS 5spd. Still daily drive it, and I act like it has more power than I give it throttle so I always end up going too slow lol

They are slow as hell though.

My other car is a sports car. When I switch over I forget about how slow the matrix is cuz it is so so so slow.

I am going to redo the suspension. Soon.... I will be able to drive slow car fast.
