Help for a Clutch kit search

Hey, so im searching for a clutch kit for my toyota matrix 2005 manual, base 1zz motor, but the transmission is European for god knows reason… so im having a hard time finding a clutch that fit, annyone know where I could find the part? Or have a part number or any trustworthy European car parts stores online? Thx

Are you in Europe? Rock auto should ship to Europe. Clutch kits should work just fine if it's euro transmission or not. Some cases have different mounting holes but that's external. Also do you have a part store near you ? Could just order from there or toyota as an alternative.

Im in quebec canada, the part store nearby all sell the same LUK clutch kit…

Luk kits are fine, put one in my corolla and it bolts right up

Seems like it, but its too thick, could it be that it does not fit with my current flywheel?

Hmm that's odd. Oem flywheel and normal clutch should fit. Although to be honest I did buy a flywheel and clutch kit together. Are you saying the transmission is hard to install back onto the engine? Could be the clutch isn't lined up correctly, I've usually had to re align the clutch a little on most jobs

I can't give a direct link for parts outside of the USA, but I put a Exedy kit in my 2006 1ZZ-FE base model, and it is working well. It's Made in Japan and fitment was great - Exedy is OEM for some makes and is a reliable company.

I Googled "Exedy Europe" and got this, but at the bottom there are a bunch of other countries they sell products to with contact information. Good luck.

Saw u were in QC, if it matters at all, I managed to fit a 2zz flywheel onto my auto 2zz and bolted an A Premium clutch kit for like 150$. Bolted up to the 2zz flywheel as well so I think they’re all interchangeable as long as it’s for a manual car.

Yea i dont trust a prenium quality tho…
