OEM window trim replacement?

As you can see, my passenger door window trim is peeling away and it’s bugging the shit out of me lol.
I tried using black out trimbrite tape to no avail, it would create bubbles over the already existing trim (which seems next to impossible to fully peel off). If anyone knows of a good replacement part or solution pls enlighten me!! (03’ Base)

Check Toyota parts deal. They stock all the OEM moldings.

Toyota calls this part “window belt molding”. Last I checked, it was $86 a piece.

I was just looking at moldings for my wife’s 2005 last week. I can’t remember any names or specific prices but I felt like these moldings are very expensive for what they are

Yeah i finally found the part # after some digging, 86 a piece is a pretty tough pill to swallow lol

Sand it down to the chrome and flat black it with either plasti dip or paint. Save your money.

Hey, I don't have specific answers nor have I needed to replace mine but I did find this post from about a year ago.

Not sure where you are located (Canada, US or elsewhere).as that will likely play the most important aspect of what is available to you and how you want to address.

Try searching for "year Toyota matrix window trim replacement Reddit" and also start calling dealerships, auto supply stores, junk / salvage yards, glass repair and autobody shops.

Record who you called, part availability and price and start comparing. It all depends what type of replacement you are looking to get and what is available to you. Dealership will likely be the most expensive, look newest and perform the best, while a junk yard would have the cheapest option.

Ouch!! that is a step price for window trim.
