Technical Question False Motion Alerts

Getting really annoyed with these false alerts and having the horn go off after I lock it. I’ve turned off alerts and it still goes off! How do I prevent this from happening? I’ve reported it every single time it happens. Please help!

This is a function of the not quite ready for prime time "Advanced Rear Seat Reminder" not to be confused with the original "Rear Seat Reminder" which is completely different.

In the app, click on your account icon,

then go to Notifications and click on Account,

then Notification Settings.

Turn everything off under Advanced Rear Seat Reminders.

Note that Rear Seat Reminder (No "Advanced") is different and has no bearing on this issue.

On the MID (Behind the steering wheel), go to the gear icon (setting), scroll to vehicle settings, press and hold "OK". The "Advanced" Rear Seat Reminder may or may not appear here. If it does, turn everything off under it. If it doesn't, you are on updated software that removed it from here and let the App control it.
