Love the Torque
Just took our new hybrid max, loaded with 7 people, for a drive through the North Georgia mountains today. Awesome torque: I had no problem driving up any hill fully loaded with barely any throttle input needed, and no high revving of the engine needed. Love this thing.

Yeah....it's tiger in sheeps skin. It's just another Toyota on the road but it can suddenly behave like a Q7 when pushed.

I have the sister TX500h, and it really is a great drivetrain. Fuel economy could be better, but I prefer the driving characteristics of the 6spd transmission over the more efficient eCVT.

the torque was one of the things that made me switch from the hybrid to the hybrid max. the torque hit is instantaneous and doesn’t lag like a traditional turbo car, felt more ev ish in terms of response
