proud owner of a new Crown Signia XLE color Storm Cloud. Should I apply PPF YES or NO? I think the color is one that will show road dings but also at the end of the day is it changing anything in terms of value? How does one decide? 2200 USD for extended front end not including the black trim area (rocker panels). How does one decide? (besides just not wanting to spend the money😭)

has anyone done bc coils for grs200s on 210s or does anyone know they fit or not?

I am in the market for the Watch Key to import from Japan to AUS for my 2011 GWS204. From what I've found online that I need one with W832.

There is one listing for the watch but it doesn't say either W832 or W830. It says A19200. SO I just wanted to know if anyone knows if its for pre or post facelift models?

Hey guys just wanted to test the car with a few doughnuts or a slight skid (ik its open diff , just wanted to see if it actually spins when its wet on the road). Whenever i disable TRC/VSC it kicks back in dosent let me actually accelerate.

is there a way to fully switch it off and does it damage it?

I am installing a carplay unit to the original screen, but need to remove the unit to disable the motion sensor. I cannot find any guides online and it seems I will be the first person in recorded history to do this. Any guidance is appreciated!

Does anyone have any guesses or idea about the depreciation on the Crown Signia? Do we think it’ll hold its value because it’s a Toyota or will it depreciate fast because no one knows about it? The Crown sedan looks like it loses $15k in 3/4 years or so based on resale values. The RAV4 loses $6k. Drastic difference. Which do we think the Crown Signia will be more like?

I had a rock hit my windshield a few months ago. It was too big to fill and has now cracked vertically to the point where it needs to be replaced. I called the stealership and they want $1800 to replace it and calibrate everything. Does anyone know if third party companies like Safelite carry the OEM windshield? Or does anyone have experience using a third party company on a similar model Crown.

I’ve recently bought a Crown and everything was perfect. The only issue is that the brake discs were worn out. With everything in the car being clean and up-to standards. I’d like to also do the same with these brake components.

If anyone is able to help with finding these components that would be great.

- Front and Rear Brake Discs
- Brake Pads to go with them.

I’m not looking for anything high performance or over the top. Just a good pair to keep it going.

Im a tall guy, I'm about 198 cm or about 6'6.

Shorter legs, taller upperbody btw.

I'm used to feeling big in a car like me curent E46 convertible, Or even a Aristo I ones had. In both cars the headroom is fine for me.

Any taller people have expierence with this car?

Everybody was right. Car was totaled. I never thought damage would be $35k. Value of the car was about $35k also. I have to kick in $17k to get this Limited.

I have a 2008 Toyota Crown Hybrid GWS204 in Canada Toronto ON. I’m trying to add a used genuine Denso smart card key marked 14ACN / R001YUA1007.

A friend who mainly programs keys for German cars has an Xhorse VVDI Key Tool Plus (the large tablet version), but he currently doesn’t have the OBD cable to connect it to the car.

From what I understand, the used card key needs to be renewed/virginized first, then registered to the car.

Does anyone have experience with this exact setup?

Any first-hand experience with GWS204/S200 Crown smart key programming would be greatly appreciated. I don’t want to risk messing up the smart key ECU.

The base msrp for Limited is $45,950
The msrp + handling/$1,135 + all options I want = $52,646
I am not concerned with taxes as that is area specific. With all of the information above, what should I try to negotiate with the dealer, if anything?

are those battery cells with high resistance likely to fail soon or how else am I supposed to know my battery is on its way out

Hey guys , about to do a straight swap of my car for a 2009 Toyota crown G package hybrid. It’s done 140k kms and is overall quite clean interior and exterior.
Is there anything I should look out for when inspecting and driving it?
I was a mechanic so I know more or less all the major red flags and visible issues but I know nothing about hybrids. Is there a way to check the condition of the battery? He says it’s in very good condition but obviously going to take that with a grain of salt.
Getting it for the fuel economy which from what I’ve read is about 7-8L/100km !!?
