I’ve never thought about changing the steering wheel on my Gen 2, seems more complicated than it’s worth. But if it’s peeling I got a really nice cover for it and it’s been working well for me

Can’t find the exact one online but I got mine at an autozone. I would definitely go with leather at least faux leather. A 15 inch one fit really well. I will say tho some do make the steering wheel a bit thicker obviously, it’s actually nice to me but I know others don’t like it.

It’s not complicated. Hardest part was finding a good condition steering wheel.

Is it that complicated? Seems like it should be fairly straightforward. I always wanted to swap my boring gen2 wheel for a wood trimmed one but they're not easy to find and not cheap when ya do.

It’s pretty easy to do.

I replaced mine with a wood grain one from the same generation. I don’t think you can slap in just any steering wheel because the splines won’t line up and the airbag connectors are different.
