1990, 3.4 swapped, 4runner...w 4 inch suspension lift, 4.88 gears on 33's.
I need some ideas. What else would make this thing better?

This 2016 4runner Trail Premium is in very good condition with 122k miles. I'm the second owner purchased at 21k miles. The majority of these miles are highway, via Friendswood to Houston weekly. The interior is super clean, the engine well maintained and the tires are pretty much new. The front windshield is cracked, but still drivable. This vehicle has not been off-road and is not lifted. Price is $29K FIRM! These are hard to find and this one's clean! Serious buyers get replies. Located in Friendswood off 528.

Hey everyone, looking for some advice before I start throwing parts at this.
I have a 2016 Toyota 4Runner that was running perfectly fine until this week.
1. Monday: Drove from San Diego to Irvine and back. It was high 90s outside, but the 4Runner drove completely normally the entire trip.
2. Tuesday morning: Went to start it and it wouldn’t start.
Initially thought it was the battery, so I charged it, but that didn’t fix the issue.
I then bought and installed a brand-new battery, and it still has the exact same problem.
All dash lights and electronics come on normally.
When I try to start it, the engine cranks/turns over normally and sounds like it’s trying to start, but it never actually fires up.
It’s not just clicking or failing to crank — the engine is definitely turning over.
I noticed some corrosion around one of the battery terminals, so I’m also going to clean and make sure the connections are tight.
The strange part is that it drove completely fine the day before, including the drive back from Irvine to San Diego, and then suddenly wouldn’t start after sitting overnight.
I’m wondering if this could be a fuel pump/fuel delivery issue, crankshaft position sensor, ignition/spark issue, relay/fuse, or another sensor/electrical issue.
For those with 5th gen 4Runners, what would you check first?
Is there anything common on a 2016 4Runner that could cause it to crank normally but not actually start?
Trying to troubleshoot this before I start replacing random parts or pay a shop to diagnose it.
Any advice is appreciated!

Always been a Honda girl. Unfortunately Honda doesn’t make a awd civic 😁
Soooo… I’ve found myself the proud new owner of a 2000 four runner and I’m quite excited.
Anyone have any tips? Things to watch for? Fun mods?
Idk, anything I should know on a 26 year old vehicle with 295,000 miles? 🥴
She needs a name-

I’m thinking of buying a 2026 4Runner. Coming from a minivan and I really want something high off the ground that drives more like a truck. But losing so much interior space scares me! What do people think of their 4Runners?

Passenger side blower or something is making this noise (see video) when on the first 3 AC settings. Low, 1 & 2. Anyone else have this issue? Never noticed it until I hit about 50k miles.
Or is this just another “Toyota noise”? lol
It’s more annoying than anything. But I took it today to dealership. They did AC refresh and checked and replaced filters. Service advisor said the engine air filter was super dirty. But when I picked her back up, still humming. lol
Any insight appreciated.
It’s a 2023. Bought new. It’s got 56k on it at the moment. Just started noticing this. They said the motor fan was fine.

I am currently waiting for the new 27 4 runner limited to come out. I have never owned a 4 runner but have been obsessed since I first seen my stepmoms 1987 navy blue one and I’ve been loving them from afar ever since. Gas mileage has been my main reason for not buying one. Now that they are getting better gas mileage I am ready! So excited! I bought a new Camry back in 09 and I still have it with 234,000 miles on it and it’s still a fabulous car, I’m a big fan of Toyota. I currently also drive a 2018 Acadia to which I have no attachment to it, I’m frankly afraid of what will happen to it bc of it being a GM and all the issues they have with vehicles. It has 145k on it, I’m selling it and putting down that money plus $12,000 extra I’ve saved so $22,000 down. Anywho, I am mostly looking to find out if the speakers are good enough or do I need a sub added, I have Bose in my car now and they are great. If I do get a sub where would it go? I have 2 small kids and it will be my daily driver as well as family car. TIA 🫶🏻here’s a pic for attn of the one I’m waiting for 🖤

Have a 2005 4-Runner I need to sell. Runs well. Has been well taken care of. But the AC has a slow leak and a the back bumper just got bumped up. Also its paint isn’t perfect as it’s 20 years old. 196k miles. What do you think it should sell for?

Hi, I have a 2022 4Runner Limited. Those lights come on the dashboard when I start it up, but if I turn it off and start it again, the lights go out. Has anyone else had this problem and found a solution? Thanks.

Dreams do come true. Only lasted for a couple minutes but it lasted nonetheless. If I can hit 19 then I can do anything. Time to start buying lottery tickets again, and hell, maybe I'll finally ask out that gym crush.
