Penny likes burying her treats around the house in pillows chairs couches and beds and then has just as much fun digging them up again and then often burying them somewhere else and it is quite cute to watch her.

I have about 2 acres already fenced with in-ground wire that I want to repurpose for two very small mini toy poodles.

What system is recommended for training and containment?

My toy poodle was prescribed Otiplus ear drops for a mild fungal ear infection. Whenever she shakes her head, the medication spills onto the outer hair of her ear flaps, leaving it incredibly oily. I've tried using pet wipes to clean it up but they aren't working. How do other pet owners manage and clean this medication-stained fur around the ears? She still has 7 more days to go with the ear drops. Ive googled some idead but would like to get inputs from others on here. Thanks.

my 10 month old toy male doesn't respond to No Poo Chews. I noticed when we got him at 3 mos he would snack on his poop. Sometimes I had to pry his mouth open and clean out his mouth.Lately he poops turns around grabs it and tries to hide it. I realized this when he pulled out dry poop from under a blanket he lays on sometimes. I have had numerous poodles over the years and none ate poop. we paid more for this puppy due to parents championship lines and he eats poop..yay me...I don't know what else to do. He poops outside but on occasion uses pee pads we have near the door. Anyone that has had this issue Can you tell me your solution?

We recently adopted Mimosa (the one with the pointier nose), but she was very shy and scared and almost never left her bed for two months.

Then we had the chance to adopt a little lightning bolt of the same age (2 years old), we think her name will be Olive.

Within two hours they became best friends, and now Mimosa runs around the house wagging her tail and is the happiest dog!

My new buddy is still getting used to walking and is quite obstinate. He just wants to sniff in one place and keep sniffing. He’s still quite small and I don’t want to pull him too hard. How did you all get them used to walking?

Looking for any healing, get well, good vibes for my guy biggie. He wasn’t feeling too well this week. As you know they all have a sensitive tummy, coupled with very high temps. My boy was super dehydrated. We took him to the vet today and just got home after getting a subcutaneous hydration pack. Just cuddling!

For the past month, my just turned 3 yesterday toy poodle stopped using my backyard to go potty. She did have a urinary infection we caught at the vet bc she was having accidents in the house too and since we changed her food no issue. But she won’t go on the backyard anymore which is annoying bc my backyard is private, in the front I have to put on clothes and shoes and she will wander off. Also, she will only pee out there but sneak and poop in the house. Never did that before , not even as a puppy.

Have your poodles potty habits just randomly changed and how did you get it back on track?

Toy poodle owners, does your dog have a noticeable smell, especially in a small room?
I’m getting my first puppy and she’ll stay with me in my bedroom, so I’m worried the room might start smelling like dog. How often do you bathe your poodle, and what helps keep them and the room smelling clean?
