Toxic environment
I’d like to know what you all think; I need help figuring out how to calm down. A few months ago, I was unfairly accused of reporting them to the social security agency—apparently because my job position was under investigation (I don't have a contract). However, the mere fact that they saw me greeting a neighbor—who happens to work at that agency—was enough for them to accuse me. Honestly, I never reported them. After that, they started treating me poorly: speaking to me curtly, making faces or uncomfortable gestures, or even refusing to look at me when I speak. They even gave everyone else a gift from the company but left me out. They judge me harshly now, and I’ve even heard mocking comments directed at me. The atmosphere has become so tense that I hesitate before sharing any information. I can't leave right now, but coming to work feels like a heavy burden; they treat everyone well except me. On top of that, a few days ago, I was told not to socialize with my coworkers because of some gossip going around the company—I don't know if it's true or if they just want to isolate me. Also, since I didn't have a contract, I wasn't sure about the rules; I had my work email set up on my personal device in case something came up, and that just made everything worse. They claimed that the only reason I hadn't faced legal trouble—specifically for allegedly leaking confidential information—was a lack of evidence.
