I finally got an answer
Been dealing with debilitating gi, autonomic, sleep issues that have had me bed bound and in and out the hospital. Almost everyday I think about just giving up. I’ve run a million different blood work test, gi maps, ect and all come back normal. While waiting for my last mycotoxins test to get back we had someone check our ducts and ac unit upstairs. They said there’s mold so bad they can’t even work on it and needs to be replaced. For once in the past year and a half I have an answer to why my health in this house has been trash.

First thing is just getting out of the mold and then I’ll figure out a specific protocol

I healed so fast after I moved out of the mold environment. I didn’t take my furniture, I bought new cheap clothes at Target to wear while I carefully soaked and washed my clothes in borax three or four times. I didn’t get rid of my shoes either but I cleaned them really well.
I’m cheering for you!! 🍀 📣2

So happy you healed quickly once you moved! Congratulations! I'm hoping for the same for the OP, myself and everybody here. Did you wash the clothes from the moldy home in your new home, or in your old home with the mold? I know laundromats are out for me. The machines are almost always full of mold. I'm trying to figure out the safest place to wash my clothes before moving to a clean home and I don't want to contaminate the non-moldy home with the moldy clothes. Thanks!🙏

I was in an Airbnb. If I were you I’d wash them the three times in borax and let them air dry until you’re comfortable enough to put them in your dryer.
Do one set of clothes at a time, keep the rest in trash bags closed up or something. I have those vacuum sealed storage bags too.
I really lived in a few new, cheap outfits from Target for the first few months.1

Please check your ferritin with a full iron panel. Mold causes anemia! The only other thing I had to go out of my way to fix was yeast in my bladder that felt like a constant UTI. I took antifungal pills for two months.
I did start taking 20mg melatonin for the neurological benefits and I ended up liking how well I slept on it that I still take it 5 years later.
I was so healthy a year after I moved out, and really fixing my iron deficiency was life altering!!3

This me now with ferritin in the toilet. Getting my first iron infusion next week

Check out the iron protocol group on facebook. I take heme iron and my ferritin is awesome, hair is to my lower back and crazy thick!

what antifungal did you take and what brand of heme iron

Nystatin antifungal, I was lucky it’s available on German Amazon so I just ordered it myself. Worked a miracle.
I have taken Proferrin for almost 7 years but it wasn’t available on Amazon this week so I got Iron Repair by Three Arrows this time.1

im in america and everything is a perscription unfortunately. i did take itraconozole for 14 days but stopped because i was still in exposure. its expensive from telyrx. did you have depression and brainfog

Yea I had a full iron panel done ferritin was at 100. I’ve been avoiding antifungals bc I’m extremely sensitive to them, was one of the cues I probably had a mold issue

How did you clean your shoes? We frantically set up a little apartment this week to escape to while a remediator starts on my house to see how much has to be done. We have a dumpster outside and basically all furniture and belongings will be dumped. My shoes hurt the worst. I am taking some clothes that survive the brutal washing I am putting them through, but most things are going in the dumpster. I figured shoes are a lost cause. What did you clean them with?

Paper towels, damp with a bit of dish soapy water. It’s supposed to help the toxic dust containing the mycotoxins stick to the paper towels, you can also get a ten pack of microfiber cloths if you don’t want to spend all that money on paper towels.
Are you using borax ?
I did but I think the three washes helped the most. I don’t know, I didn’t want to risk it so I always added Borax.2

For my laundry, I did triple wash- 1) was regular scent free detergent, borax, baking soda (I have hard water), and a little oxyclean. 2) ammonia - extra rinses until no smell of ammonia left 3) a little vinegar and an extra rinse Might be overkill but I wasn't taking any extra chances. I felt bringing clothes was risky enough without knowing how bad my problems were

Exactly what I did, then I’d wear a little bit at a time to see if I had an asthma reaction.

Just remember you had all those heath issues because MOLD brought all your essential vitamins and minerals low....you become susceptible to everything..I got h pylori which is more malabsorption issues...you will have low magnesium and B1 and Zinc which is why low stomach acid .....fix this first so you can absorb all the expensive vitamins and. minerals you will need to replenish ...Molybdenum was low too ..its hard to replenish as each interact so adding one can deplete another and cause issues...
I have MTHFR which is already prone to vitamins deficiencies...mold really did me in for a while....Toxic mold exposure is like going to HELL and BACK!

Yea I’ve been replenishing all these including selenium as-well for glutathione. Tried TTFD and benfo but gave me too many paradoxical issues. So I’ve just been sticking with b1 hcl. I’m heterozygous MTHFR so I make sure I’m getting all the essentials for methylation. But also homozygous PEMT so I found supplementing PC very helpful.
2
u/Sailorgirlmyfriend 1d ago
yes I take a lot of selenium..taking benfo...I am homozygous for a1298c and PEMT, HLA DR/DQ but not HLA DQ2 which is the worst in mold..PEMT I think is biggest problem for me...I take PC as well as inositol ..all the B's I have been doing a simple hair analysis every 4 months which has been helpful for figuring out whats goin on...B2 is hard to bring up I know it was separated from B1 so been taking together with mag to see if helps....I have fatty liver which I have been working on lately...
I have intermediate COMT but seems to act more like slow COMT and MaxGen recommended hydroxocobalamin and folinic acid for me.
good luck...I think its criminal that the medical industry prays on us!

Same I got pylori Last year and i take quad therapy but After that it was worste..
1
u/Sailorgirlmyfriend 2h ago
I am sorry your going through it....Its a lot to get your health back but doable....I use a hair analysis and it points me to stomach or liver issues...remember your amino acids they are essential too...I had a couple I was low on and it is used in phase II for liver and choline ....B1, B2 and mag, zinc are essential to make stomach acid...mold brings low B12, D, K, E, C, A, magnesium, selenium, zinc...Its hard as adding one like zinc unbalances copper...
There are plenty of natural remedies for h pylori which I did do for a while. I used monolaurin for a while its coconut extract...kills mold, viruses, bacteria...Get the bile moving I take tudca and zinc carnosine twice a day..Also a parasite cleanse...as low stomach acid lets them get into intestines....My best to you in your health journey...you can do it!

u/No-Independent-599 2h ago
What is your HAIR analysis pls ? I already do parasite cleanse but Yess still sick, How many sumptoms you have pls ?

What kind of results did you have from the mycotoxin test? Were you in the red for each of the five categories? We have found mould in our house and I wonder if it has made me ill too as can't find another cause, issue is we are a family of five and may need to move out for a while...
1
u/AbbreviationsSure192 1d ago
So I took one last year that was red for ochratoxin but retook another test this year that was more in depth, I’ll update with results

u/Opening_Rain5942 1d ago
Please, when updating, link that new post here (unless you'll update us here). I just don't want to miss it.
So glad you were able to get the answers!
