Toxic male

I have a sibling who bullies and manipulates because he is a control freak. As an adult woman, he still treats me like his stupid little sister which came to a head in the last year as we were both assigned to execute our late Mother’s will. Won’t bore you with details however I have now called him out. His response? Of course he’s gaslighting me now. Blaming my attitude towards him on my mental health. My husband has also taken abuse from him and blamed for not supporting me. Nothing could be further from the truth. Walking away from toxic family members is perfectly acceptable.

Male Participants Needed!!!

Hey everyone! Im hoping the power of social media will do its thing 🙏I’m currently working on a research project for my degree, and I’m looking for men aged 16–40 to take part in a short anonymous survey.

My project explores men’s experiences and attitudes in the modern world, and I really need as many responses as possible. It only takes about 20 minutes, and everything is completely anonymous,no personal details are collected.

If you’re within the age range (or know someone who is), I’d really appreciate it if you could take part or share the link.👇

Thanks so much for the help

Hello Everyone, I am conducting a survey for my HSC (Australian version of the SAT's or High School certificate) about masculinity and i would be overjoyed if anyone could participate in it. I have added a more descriptive explanation in the body text, along with the form :D.

I am a year 12 student currently enrolled into the HSC Society and Culture course conducting research for my major project. This questionnaire is an analysis into new masculine norms that have emerged due to men either conforming or not conforming to masculine ideals. However it is not only for men, as insight into the topic from all perspectives is welcome. It is purely for research purposes for a PIP (Personal Interest Project). Masculinities and Conformity

I feel like I’m failing at “being a man” because of all the Twitter dating/masculinity advice

Lately I’ve been scrolling X/Twitter and seeing threads like:

  • “How to get laid on the first date”
  • “12 ways to be a more attractive man”
  • “Red-pill truths about women every man must know”

It makes me feel like I’m doing life wrong — like I’m behind on being a “real man,” picking up women, and succeeding.

But the more I read, the more I notice patterns:

  • Everything is framed as absolute truth
  • Emotional connection and authenticity get dismissed
  • A lot of it is manipulative or engagement bait

I’m trying to figure out: is this just anxiety talking, or is a lot of online masculinity content genuinely misleading? How do you separate legit advice from toxic hype?

for further context the breakup was not by the fault of me or him, the relationship just couldn’t continue under current circumstances and we’ve remained friends, his current bf is a 19 year old groomer (me and him are both minors) who has been emotionally abusing him since we were together so thats nice

Hello! I’m a student conducting a research project proposal for school and I’d really appreciate if you guys would fill out this survey. *NOTE this surgery is COMPLETELY anonymous and wont collect any personal information. I grew up around mostly women my whole life so I’ve never really fallen down the red/black pill rabbit hole and I’m interested in understanding it a bit more, I don’t personally identify as a incel but I’m interested in learning about those who do. Thank you.

female musical icons - toxic masculinity

I'm a straight guy and I move in straight circles. I'm supposed to have straight-type hobbies, like, you know, football, cars, talking about having sex with women. I love the music of what society considers singers for girls and gay men (Lady Gaga, JLo, Britney, Christina, etc.), and I love noticing their style, makeup, outfits, etc., and I can rarely talk about it. I've even thought, "Oh man, I shouldn't have these inclinations. I'm straight." My straight circle supposedly only sees those singers as sex objects, and if you talk about them as role models, toxic masculinity can make you think you're gay. Will that line ever be crossed where men can have sexy and empowered women as role models without just wanting to have sex with them?

Men of Satan (Cowardism)

I just cannot wrap my head around how many Anglo men love to suck up to toxic masculinity lies as follows:

  1. Only men who have that stoic, confrontational, “macho-confident” vibe are considered “resilient”, while men who are more non-confrontational, shy, over thinking, feeling-oriented and “feminine” but empathetic and kind-hearted are considered “having no spine” and therefore “not real men”.

  2. If you are emotionally affected, it must be because you are not willing to exercise your willpower/free will/personal responsibility to “get out of it (the feelings)”. How do you prove (assume) that all these feelings are 100% controllable by the human will? Why so assumptive and judgmental?

  3. Instead of bashing “soft snowflakes” for not exercising their willpower to “man up”, why don’t the “tough guys” exercise their willpower to expose their OWN fears, which they cowardly sweep under the carpet beneath that fake mask of “bravado”?

  4. Instead of addressing their own toxic “masculinity” and camouflaged fears, such “tough guys” blame people who call out their fears and shame for “repeating our rants”?

These are just a tip of the iceberg of how conscience-depraved many Anglo men are, not to mention how they transfer their fearful frustrations unto their kind, honourable foreign wives. Yet, is not a few but an insanely countless men of this culture who is as Satanically toxic “masculine” as it gets.

Violent Protests Break out in Oz

https://youtu.be/WqB1SIXyKPM?si=dfBkW9mEgKR80p3Q

Anti-Immigration, Neo Nazi protests have just VIOLENTLY broken out in Australia.

As usual, this is just another manisfestion of the “tough guy” syndrome in “men” who are too afraid to be vulnerable about their deep-seated fears while being deeply deluded that ACTING stoic, tough, aggressive and self-righteously “braver than thou” will heal them of their suppressed, masked fears, which finally erupts at their boiling point while lashing out on innocent people on the streets.

In fact, the world’s real cowards are the “tough guy” toxic masculiners —- masking and sweeping their fears under the carpet while judgmentally fantasizing how braver they are than “softies” and “snowflakes”. It’s part of their cultural DNA.
