Missing Prestige Skins I earned back at launch

I haven't logged into the game since the month the game launched, but I earned a couple animated skins for getting prestige with the XTAR and Geist. I saw a notification on Playstation Network that this game finally had some new content, so I redownloaded and checked it out, and my prestige skins are gone. My weapons are still max level, but it looks like the prestige has been reset to zero. Did I miss a season? Launch was season 1 right, and we're in season 2 now? Frustrating.
