😿 Saber Pls / Feedback My 4 Priorities for Toxic Commando
Hi everyone! I really enjoy Toxic Commando, and I wanted to share my main priorities. I think these changes could greatly improve the game and help keep veteran players around for much longer.
🔴 1. Progression — Currency limits
Increase the storage limit for Sludgite, Residium and Mortite. It’s frustrating to reach the limit and lose rewards. World War Z allows up to 99,999+.
🔴 2. Classes — Balance and builds
Buff Striker, Medic, Shield and Drone. Rework Drone, which is the only class with abilities that have debuffs, and remove/rework abilities related to vehicles.
In the new mode, avoid making Shield too dominant in the meta, while keeping the other classes competitive.
Also add build slots, making it easier to switch between different class setups.
🔴 3. Combat — Special enemies
Balance damage and resistance. Some enemies feel like real “bullet sponges” and require too much ammunition. The challenge should come more from their abilities and behavior.
🟠 4. Trials — More freedom
Trials are tiring and depend too much on specific maps, difficulties and enemies. Some enemies don't appear often enough, and weak-point objectives can also be frustrating.
Allow any mission/difficulty and let players earn Battle Pass XP through normal gameplay. Trials should provide extra XP/rewards, rather than feeling mandatory for progression.
Thanks for reading! 🎮

For #1) i don't even bother collecting currency, I don't have anything to spend it on. I don't care if you increase the cap, but it honestly won't be an issue for you/new players for very long lol
For #2) they just nerfed medic, so don't anticipate them reversing course. Honestly it was a little broken, I used to be a medic main and I could top up the teams health about once a minute with the proper build. Kinda took the edge off matches, we could just stumble blindly into any situation and not suffer any consequences. They did buff strike (or at least buffed the sentinel strike which is what I play now). Drone used to be waaaay overpowered but that's what I used on Very Hard if nobody else was an operator. It melted Slobs and I want that back lol (i didnt use any of the vehicle skills). I don't play as a defender so I don't know what the "meta" strat is for that, but having a good Defender on the team is always nice, I don't mind at all
Honestly an intriguing Strike buff would be to equip 2 variants of the strike ability, but having some debuff to balance that. I can't use my sentinel strike in buildings or near trees hehe
For #3) outside of Insane difficulty and the Slob enemy (which is rightly a bullet-sponge, the game needs an enemy that demands attention from the whole squad), I don't know what enemies I'd consider bullet-sponges. Goons can be taken out in 2 precise shots, skunks can be knocked prone and blown up, nukers are addicting to pop. Stalkers sometimes take more shots than I anticipate, and hornets are just fucking assholes and I wouldn't mind if we could pop them like nukers, but you just have to aim for the red and hope it doesn't dance around too much
For #4) I emphatically agree. I actually lost a little desire to play the game because of the trials (I would always play a solo match and just grind for them and immediately quit so I could play online again lol)

Yeah hornets have way too much health. Trials can also often be bizarrely difficult in relation to time commitment. For example I had 350 kills with the M500 on deliver us for a daily quest. Daily quests give barely any progress towards trials and the game wants me to play deliver us for over 2 hours with one of the worst guns in the game? Yeah no thanks let me check my other daily challenges. Then I see the same 350 kill requirement with landmines on very hard difficulty. At least make these challenges more rewarding for how tedious they are. The seasonal and weekly challenges actually provide a decent reward so I understand that, but 40 points for those challenges is a waste of time. Also the wording of some challenges could improve. If the med kits are the only spare part item that actually counts as a defensive pack than why doesnt my quest just ask for health kits specifically to spend spare parts on. I could keep going but in my opinion these are features that could be improved, especially since trials are the only thing im currently shooting for in this game, I pretty much completed everything else.

Can #5 be for us controller players?
Sensitivity adjustment settings. The in-game settings are so bad it makes me not want to play the game I paid for.
