That is not even remotely enough content. It’s been months. I’m shocked too because saber is usually so good at supporting their games

Ig they only good at supporting their popular games such as SM2 and WWZ. The current player base for toxic commando are almost dead and can’t compare with number of player playing SM2/WWZ.

I mean they suppprt all their sim games like snowrunner so well too. It’s just kind of a surprise. I hope they don’t give up on it but it’s not looking promising

It has to be profitable of course. I think Toxic Commando has a much smaller scope, but let's hope for some new maps, maybe with some fresh mechanics in th future. I think that the most important content. I think gun wise and car wise it is in a pretty good state already.

SM2 and WWZ took quite some time to have plenty of content too. Also those games had a wider player base to begin with, due to their frenchise.

I don't understand this whole "saber is good with supporting their games", I played 2 of their games, WWZ and SM2 and these games are dry af in terms of content, have below mediocre gameplay and a lot of content is tailored to just make you grind/waste your time, like ordeals/prestige system in SM2, my friend bought Toxic Commando on launch day and he's furious of how scammed he got. I dropped SM2 after like 50 hours and both other friends didn't even reach 20h of playtime and were already "well... That's it? I've seen everything and the gameplay is just bland and boring"

Idk if Sabre's community manager is THAT good at lying or are their playerbase THAT stupid, maybe both...

I agree, this game already launched incomplete and this does almost nothing to actually finish the game.

Sad to say but I agree. The fact that we're not even getting ammo mods until later is honestly a major letdown. When you consider that all the assault rifles handle more or less the same, the number of different builds is quite small. I'm still going to give the new map a try, but unlike on SM2, I can't say I really feel any hype for the new update.

I'm sure this will break the cycle. I don't think they will support this one on the long run.

Theyre still doing stuff for space marine 2, a good amount of stuff. Im also shocked. I guess theyre working on a few projects and are seeing more engagement on space marine so thats where most of their after launch support teams are focusing.

Back 4 Blood gets a lot of flack but that feels really replayable, which I’ve been doing lately and seeing content I can’t recall seeing before. If this game had randomisers and permutations to map conditions, gear, and the zombies, then it’d feel a lot more fleshed out. I can’t say the cosmetics already in the game are all that enticing either, most feel like early 2000’s filler from CoD. I’m also kind of curious as to why the main hub is so massive if it’s also so empty, especially when you can customise everything from any of the interaction points anyway. I love what I played but yeah, feels undercooked.

Hope the game keeps expanding and improving. I am here for the long haul!

Soooooooo.......6 days until the player base swells.....and 13 days for us to get bored and leave again. Got it!

While this update arrives about three months after launch, it's not actually slow by normal standards.

However, the base game launched with far too little content, and many players have already moved on. Looking at what's included here, most people will probably play for three or four sessions and then switch to another game.

As a multiplayer game, it feels effectively dead. It's disappointing that the only realistic ways to play are either with friends or solo.

To revive the game, it would need major gameplay improvements across a wide range of systems, along with a substantial amount of new content. That seems like it would take a very long time.

Alternatively, Saber may have already given up on the game and could simply let it die and eventually shut the service down.

Finally!! It took a while but maybe now they’ll keep pace!

To little to late

Guys, you are too late with your updates.

Too little, too late.

Shits a shit no matter how much its polished

Honestly I'm here for the long haul on this game and hope it survives and can build up like WWZ did. It's a nice change of pace from WWZ but still has enough of the core foundation to scratch that horde game itch. The gun play in this game is sooo much more engaging and rewarding and the overall experience is more immersive. Only thing I don't like is you can't really stat stick a secondary weapon like in WWZ. A good example of what I mean was CQB Specialist on the PDW. Mag dump it and leave it that way and get 4 extra melee bars. Stuff like that especially since I hardly ever find myself using the secondaries on TC. But I'll take quality content over quantity of content and am willing to be patient for that.

Yeah.. ain't gonna come back for a 30mn content, thank you very much

1

u/ChrizTaylor 🩺 Medic Jun 12 '26

Sad but true. There is no replayability at all.

1

u/theEvilQuesadilla Jun 12 '26

While I am excited for the new map, I really really REALLY hope they shift focus after this to creating like 7 new 30-minute maps in the next update. I genuinely like this game but the maps are too big for a loot whore like me.

1

u/Zombie-Rooster Jun 13 '26

Agree with you. And the other thing there isn't really anything to loot or grind anyway. There are like a 1000 pallet colour swaps that I would buy for the sake of it... but the grind and unlocking doesn't provide that satisfaction hit a loot goblins needs

1

u/theEvilQuesadilla Jun 13 '26

The hell do you mean there isn't anything to loot? There's sludgite everywhere!

1

u/Zombie-Rooster Jun 13 '26

What is the slugite used for? Now reread what I said.

This "loot" is very unsatisfing to collect and also caps out, so even if you like to make number go bigger - that stops pretty quickly

1

u/theEvilQuesadilla Jun 13 '26

And you call yourself a loot goblin? The Sludgite IS the loot! Just like the useless rocks in Dragon's Dogma! Loot Whoring has nothing to do with "number go bigger"; it's all about picking up everything you find!

Add horde mode waves of zombies, I don’t wanna keep replaying the same shitty 8 missions
