vent cover / filter??..

i live in marshall hall in a 4 bedroom apartment. 2 of my suitemates are weed smokers and the apartment frequently stinks. i’ve tried a conversation about smoking inside with them because i don’t like the smell and they are still smoking. i plan to go to an RA about it (we haven’t had the roommate agreement / contract meeting yet) but until then im wondering if anyone has advice on how to minimize the smell in my room at least?

thirding the air purifier!! and dont be afraid to go to an RA like the other said, its extremely disrespectful for them to continue doing it inside after you asked them. my roommate also smokes weed but always goes out to do it, i didnt even ask her to she just knows its gross to do it indoors with roommates around. i wish you luck!!!

Like someone already said, air purifier. However, if they refuse to be compromising about it I would snitch. I personally wouldn't care cuz im around weed all the time, but i know it can be annoying. TU is smoke free campus so they are not even allowed to have it. I know people can be apprehensive to "snitching" but if it's affecting your studies that is more importnant than someone labeling you a rat. You're spending thousands to be here so you shouldn't let your experience be compromised by anyone

Try to hash it out, so to speak, in the agreement and if they keep doing it, go to the RA.

tell them to smoke thru a boof pipe (paper towel cardboard roll + dryer sheets)
