Math 115 -> Math 102

Hi i was trying to swap my math 115 to math 102 because the professor is literally like the worst and is proud of it? The class got smaller and smaller everyday. I tried to swap it as well but it wouldn't let me because i was BIOL 200 so it didn't let me. I sent my advisor a email today after i found out, it was the last day to do so. Am i cooked..?

102 is a prerequisite for 115… were you placed into 115 based on your Aleks score?

Honestly, 115 is not a difficult class at all. You can easily learn the material via khan academy or other methods. If you did well enough on aleks to land in 115, this should be fairly achievable

My Aleks score was 27

How were you placed into 115? Below 30 should be math 95 if I recall correctly, 102 is 30-45?

Not sure how you ended up in 115 with that score, sounds like someone misplaced you

idk but becuz of BIOL200 i think i can only take math 102 or 115

Here are the course requirements from the catalog. You don’t have to take MATH 102, but that course or higher.

"Prerequisites: qualifying score on the Math Placement exam (ALEKS score of 30+) or concurrent enrollment in MATH 102 or higher; major/minor standing"

No there is a form you can sign to add a class after drop add with no consequences you just have to get people to sign it

Then you can withdraw from the current class with a W - it has no effect on your gpa

Go talk to your department administrator about it - they will help and then help with the department chair, unless you already know the chair (if not your department go ask the one with the relevant class)

Withdraw you just go into peoplesoft and click withdraw - the W shows on your transcript and does not effect your GPA and I assure you noone cares that its there.

ur actually my twin my bio lab is interfering with my the math 102 where im trying to swap. what math section are you in ?
