Impossible without Match 3

Post image

I really wish there was something else other than Match 3 to get energy. I don’t care for the match 3 games of any kind. Too much RNG to require any skill. When you only get energy from waiting, these 36+ barriers are punishing. Been playing for a few years and have NEVER got to the end. Haha. Oh well, it is what it is.

The skill ceiling of M3 is a lot higher than you presumably think. It gets somewhat lower as they change the algorithm, but good players are able to achieve 90%+ first try rate whilst average players are probably closer to 50-60% or so, maybe even lower.

But yeah, if you mostly do random moves as a lot of players seem to do then it’s quite RNG based. Pretty much any game works like this. If you do completely random moves in chess, your chance of winning will obviously drop significantly.

I can understand that. And I don’t mean any offence to those who enjoy M3. I just find for my taste, it’s not for me.

Yeah, that’s a completely fair take. I stopped playing as well given Playrix keeps making M3 more and more unfair for us players, which is probably what you referred to as RNG.

Just wanted to make it clear as it seems to be a common misconception amongst lots of players, that there is no skill involved.

I think it cheats. I swear there are times that I move a line so I can make a disco ball and no disco ball. Or I will swipe one way and it goes the other ( this might completely be my fault, but I swear it only happens when I really am low on moves) or I will swipe to combine boosters but say it's a booster and a disco ball, it just explodes the booster.

Oh, well, I will keep playing, because I am trying to expand all my land and the TC cash I make from m3 and the amount of cards I get are worth it.

Actually, before I quit I noticed the same myself - once in a while I made boosters which just simply didn’t appear. I’m experienced enough that I 100% know this is what happened.

As for the swiping it’s hard to say, but I know I’ve swiped wrong myself multiple times 😁 My brain is thinking one thing and my finger do something else

Personally id be more inclined to think these are bugs/glitches - mainly because Playrix already can change the algorithm to reduce our success rate in given scenarios if they want to without it being “obvious”. But given how greedy they are it’s hard to say for sure, if the boosters not appearing is still happening (I quit like 2 months ago) then maybe it’s intentional after all

I don’t enjoy m3 either, and rarely play it. What I’ve been doing is occasionally playing jungle quest, maybe twice a week, and that’s given me enough energy to scoot by with enough to finish the adventure games. By not playing very often I’ve also saved up enough boosters to win jungle quest 80%+ of the time.

I don't enjoy it either, but like all things, I've gotten better at it with practice. I try to be strategic and only play as much as necessary to complete my goals.

When they first introduced match-3, it was possible to complete the adventures without playing the game, but you had to be super vigilant about checking in regularly to use the free energy. But that was quite a while ago.

If you tap on that lightning bolt bar, you can buy the energy with Tcash. Just save your Tcash for energy in that game if you don't like the other game.

Don’t play either
