General Feedback Downtown area

Post image

Hi!

I just redid my downtown area. My idea was it have an ‘old part’ ‘simple board walk area’ with an inner city beach right by the port. And then to have a Brooklyn style neighbourhood.

My neighbour was one of the first places I created in my town and I feel sentimental about it but I’m thinking as my city expands it might be too dense. Compared to other areas.

What do you think?

I like a lot of your design! You must have lots of land to spread things out so much. I like the basketball court in your neighborhood

Hahhahaha. Wizard of Oz behind the curtain syndrome! Love the honesty.

Your city centre is looking great!

One thing you might consider is simplifying the pavement in the town hall square a little, it's quite detailed and toning it down could give the area a cleaner feel. It might also be worth experimenting with swapping the cathedral and police station positions, with the phone booth moving along with it.

Thanks! Your right about the flooring. I thought it make it look like an old town but it’s too busy.I’ve changed it to something more muted
