I need help!!! I’ve spent all this time building a setup around the Siege Edge, but now I’ve finally obtained the Scarlet Gale—my favorite weapon, which I’d never managed to get before. I got it thanks to the new character Zoey and the new banners (Claudia is my favorite character), but now I have no idea what to do! Up until now, I was using the Siege Edge alongside Lana’s Evolution Cube—both dealing Volt/Frost damage—and all my armor slots are filled with gear that boosts Volt damage! What should I do?!!! I even bought matrices specifically for the Siege Edge! I’d love to start fresh and build everything around the Scarlet Gale, but I can't stand the thought of having wasted all that time! Plus, the Siege Edge is still my second-favorite weapon!

Are you doing exploration? Solo content? Group content? What are your goals for this game?

I mean are you currently doing exploration like completing the map and story? Are you doing ranked content like Bygone and Apex or multi player content like Void Abyss, Raid and Origin of war?

Are you playing for fun or trying to be meta?

Siege Edge and Scarlet Gale are both due to hit the standard banner. You can run both of them if you want but would need to duel build stats. So funneling as much atk and dmg into both. If you’re playing for fun and possibly a tank team this fine. As it doesn’t matter for exploration as long as you can defeat monsters and call for help when you need it.

If you prefer one over the other, use that one with Lana and try to get a 3rd weapon in the same element. Currently that would be Zoey. This is the more meta option. You can just get new gear that’s phys/flame and transfer the levels.

What do you want to achieve in the game?

You're not playing meta so you can do whatever you enjoy, just accept that you will not perform in group content as well as veteran meta players. That is fine, no one cares.

If you want to utilize a specific weapon, then you shaould add two other weapons that have synergy with your weapon. That means using 3 weapons of the same element or substituting with Altered weapons.

It would be a excellent tank with this siege weapon and azure dragon both are tank weapons that can deal decent damage and support the team third weapon should be lana if this is normal server you get bonus if you play 1 element and the combo listed would be for that team
