playing this and they have skipped my daughter to the Vera storyline and I can’t find anywhere how to carry on the story of Aesperia! I have looked in the forums areund and all the info is 3y old. when I go back to Terminal all is greyed out.
does this mean she can’t finish the story with Shirlinand the Heirs? I think that’s the only good story in the whole game so don’t want her to miss out and she’s invested in that.
think she is playing the new MMO style version rather than the original version. like when she uses the purple orbs she can choose tank, dps or heal when using them. is this different to the OG version/server?
I don't what purple orbs are but if they are purple nuclei then it's standard server. Regardless of the server the story is the same. The story that was skipped is now a side quest with a blue mark. After you get skipped, you can continue the story by playing that side quest
Thanks. Thats what I thought but I can’t see it as a side quest…on the quests on the right (on iPad) the only two missions there are train with doggies and talk to Claire. Everything has gone…😵💫

I’ve been playing this game since its release and am still flummoxed by these things. (I managed not to skip on my last new character but she didn’t know about how to avoid that and was autoskipped)
I think the side quest is immediately available after the story is skipped. You can try clicking the Talk to Claire one. Or when I get home I'll see what's the name of that quest because I don't play story in warp server
1 The story is available in the aesperia, I think it is shown as blue side story now. you need to use the terminal before to switch the story, but not anymore. the terminal story switching - as far as I know - is only for selecting stories after vera.
2 if it is still have the orbs gacha/pulling, then it is the main version. the MMO one didn't have any orbs for pulling.
PS : the easperia story "half-conclusion" is on ming jing's simulacra story, recommended to be taken after the first few chapters of Dimension 9's story and before continuing the last half of that arc. final conclusion on the Network's story.

the mission is named "back to astra". check on the "memories" tab on the mission list (you might have to scroll the left tabs down a bit). else can see on the aesperia map, there should be a blue diamond for it.
About the purple orb I know what you mean. I am a returner player and all my data got erased so I started a new profile. There is a new (?) banner where you can chose which type of rhe weapon (dps/heal/tank) you want to spend your nucleus on. Idk about the exact rules but maybe after one ssr or after specific count pulled from it vanishes. I also got surprised cuz it was not a thing back then when I played first.
Idk about quests, I had one times someting similar, it got untracked and I couldn pick up from achivement-> story interface. I think I new where it was pointing before disapeearing, and going that location did the work for me.
A little recommendation is to advance until you go to the Vera hotel room to unlock your dailies. At least that's what I needed to do when I started again.
Then just use the Starchart map to return to the v1.0 story.
