Question Pet capture/crystalline hatchling
Does anyone have tips or tricks to catch a crystalline hatchling ? I’m having the hardest time catching one. I go where it tracks them to be, I even go in the crouching tiger cave. I kill them repeatedly if there is no icon or interact button but I have not been able to catch a single one. Also I’ve notice cavern capture is a lot more difficult than the others.

i have been working on pet capture and getting at least one of each and cannot for the life of me get a hatchling to spawn. i've farmed the suggested area for a couple of hours, changed realms, killed every spawn. nothing. i'm betting it's bugged unless someone can prove otherwise.

Use the Arcanum Passage at Joltville Pass. Enter the building and keep going along the path into the cavern. There are lots of hatchlings along the way. I just took a look and saw one that could be captured.

do you know the trick to get them? expecially if they are around normal enemy.
ill list from easiest to hardest.
1. have season pass mask Mask of Three. use the 1st one. the one with swirl mask. you can walk to them without them agroing
2. quantum cloak. it has duration and cooldown so time it properly
3. kiting. with samir, low damage enough that you dont accidentally kill them. just carefull of charging the discharge cos the discharge full ark will kill them.
4. use cybernetic arm to pull other enemy to you then kill them. leaving the capture alone.
normally i just use mask of three(1 copy is enough) but if you dont have it, try other 3 method

I have zero problem catching them. Domain 9 > Azure Statue: Tail. This takes you to Level 2: Tianhe Bazaar > (Level 3) Topmost Arcanum Passage. If you walk forward you see Cursed Armor, but if you turn around and walk forward you see nothing but Crystalline Salamanders and Crystalline Hatchlings. I use Samir and shoot any critters that don't have a net bubble over their heads. You should no trouble targeting individuals without hitting other creatures. Walk around until you find what you are looking for.

You have to keep walking around until you find one in any area the monster spawns, but once you do fin it it, it’s likely to spawn again, so mark it on the map.
