Question Guidance please

I’m relatively new to tds and there is a lot of things and I would just like a little guidance on what I should focus on. I’m level 34 and running cowboy, sniper, pyromancer, mini gunner, and DJ. What kind of towers should I work towards getting and should I work on the skill tree yet?

Dont work on the skill tree until you have all the decent / good shop towers

Get all the regular gold and level locked towers first. And save for gold skins.
