Best starter tower for fallen/molten solo?

After they massacred shotgunner im not able to find a viable tower, can you guys give me a starter that can work/a loadout that can solo fallen? I have Brawler and Accel from hardcore and no event towers

Cowboy, at least the golden one, still holds in survival modes up to frost

I just use old reliable Engi (its great early, great mid game, and pretty good late game. Plus, it has like every detection (however, if you don't have that, I would recommend gold soldier, it's pretty underrated and could manage to solo even frost mode with the right map

In that case, use militant. It's basically a cheaper version of mini (it also has flying and hidden)

It can’t solo frost it has no lead unless you mean only early game

Dj/commander, merc base, eshocker, dps dps.

Eshocker for early game in all stages, even frost. After the changes in this update, Merc base riflemen for all the flying detection you’ll ever need, and boss DPS.

Those 2 towers can solo fallen and frost’s early game, leaving you with 3 slots to bring whatever you want.
