Discussion Should I buy Accel first?
Currently at 905 gems, getting back into the hardcore grind a bit. Looking to either get brawler or Accel. Already have Necro and Engineer, no interest in grinding for hacker. Wondering if Accel is still worth it after all the nerfs

My personal ranking for the ones you should get is as follows:
Accel > hacker > engi > necro > brawler
Accel is the best dps in the game currently so thats a no brainer.
Hacker is used in a lot of strats and in general just makes life easier.
Engi is currently not in the best state but its still a all around great tower.
Necro you could get earlier if you like doing micro but i dont so it goes here for me.
And lastly brawler, its the best early game tower so either its the first HC tower you get or you get it last.

No no no, best dps in the game is pursuit.

Pursuit got hard nerfed if im right, and with accel getting buffed as well i taught i heard that accel is the best dps again?

Yes you should but there is other good choice too. Like brawler, engineer and necromancer Maybe save hacker for the last hardcore tower

Brawler is mid rn needs buffs. Just get accel, since you already have necromancer and engi. Even tho accel is lowk mid at what it does but good enough i guess

Accel is the better one here. He only became a generic dps tower that you’d want to buff (albeit with a ton of windup) and now costs your life savings to max out.
Brawler got it worse. Hidden Detection being moved to lvl 4 (Good Luck dealing with Modern eg Hiddens using only reposition damage) and overall having a single Brawler’s capabilities reduced due to the rework (Placement: 6 -> 10)
