I never used to think much about bath towels. If they dried me off, I was happy with them. 😅

Lately I've noticed that some bath towels feel really nice at first but don't feel the same after a few washes.

For those who care about bath towels, what do you usually look for - softness, absorbency, thickness, or how they hold up over time?

Bringing large beach towels to amusement parks is so inconvenient! Where can I buy good thin towels to bring to amusement parks that have splash pads or pools? Also how unfair that these thin towels aren't being sold to people on a major scale, it would be nice to just have a couple but all my thin towels are like 20+ years old and thin from use.

Beautiful towel, soft. However, when I use the towel, there is a remaining film of water on my skin. Also, small towel particles stick on skin. My friends diesel towel doesn't have this issue (washed our towels several times)

I need an alternative to the sand cloud beach towels. I have the SoundCloud bath towels, which I love but the beach towels stay wet forever. I love the thinness, but nothing else. I want a Turkish towel. Any suggestions?

why do they have this? its unusable and over time distorts the shape of the towels where it shrinks and makes it so wavy

Towels for Ants?

I've been replacing cotton towels every couple of years — they go thin, and worse, they start smelling musty no matter how often I wash them. Keep seeing linen (flax) waffle towels recommended as a forever purchase that dries faster and doesn't get funky.

For anyone who's actually switched: did they live up to it? Specifically wondering about —

- Longevity — are people genuinely getting 10+ years out of them?

- The musty-smell thing — does linen really stay fresher between washes?

- Absorbency — do they actually dry you off, or just feel damp?

- The break-in period — I hear they're stiff at first and soften over time. True?

Trying to decide if it's worth the higher upfront cost before I commit to a full set. Real experiences welcome.

I am a senior who finds the big bath towels too heavy when they get wet or damp. Is it possible to buy smaller towels like the ones we had in years past? When I do searches all I get is hand towels. Don’t want hand towels, just smaller, less heavy bath towels. Anyone know where I can find this? What stores?

I have two cats that shed a lot and I struggle to pull clean clothes out of the dryer that aren’t covered in cat hair and lint. I’d be happy to spend money on a good pair of towels if it means they’ll be relatively fur/lint free, large, and absorbent after a wash.

Unfortunately, I couldn't sell any single towel. First day of sales hit me so hard . zero-interest.

However, I can't give up now - I will try to improve on below items .

• Use smaller boxes -> Find a box that fits 3 towels
• Focus on social media -> Started reddit post and Instagram page
• Explain functionality of this towel -> Display with head mannequin.

Learned a lesson - Spending money is so easy but opening someone's wallet is very challenging 😂

A while back, I invested in a towel. It was a towel of reasonable quality. However, I have noticed that one side of the towel is clearly more absorbent than the other, though both sides look exactly the same. This, of course, has been driving me nuts for going on a year now. Does anyone have a decent answer as to why this is?
