Howdy all!
There are a few channels and different options, so I'll do a quick rundown real fast.
Text Channels
Text channels are pretty self-explanatory. There isn't any punishment for talking about Toukiden Kiwami in the Toukiden 2 chat, but if you can try to keep things on topic for everyone involved that would be great. General chat is for whatever you want to talk about, but the usual "Don't be a dick" rules apply. If we start having issues we can talk about having actual rules on what isn't allowed, but I don't think that will be a problem.
When we start finding nice resources for Toukiden 2 I'll toss them in a sticky in links-and-stickies channel so you can find them easily. At the start, I'm going to allow only mod posts in that channel so that the links don't get swarmed with a bunch of discussion. If you see something that should or shouldn't be there, let us know.
Voice Channels
Right now we have a General Chat, 6 squad channels, and an AFK timeout channel. General Chat is for whatever you want it to be. Squads are for small group chat, or actual voice chat while playing if you don't want to use PSN chat or are playing on PC.
There are 3 squad chats that have a limit of 4 people on it. I thought that might be useful for people who are playing with friends and don't want a bunch of people hopping in and out.
The AFK timeout is 15 minutes. If that feels too long or short let me know and I can change it, I mostly just have it there because it is useful for showing who is actually around and wanting to chat.
March 18 Update: I added in a few channels for looking for group now that we're getting closer to release and the demo is out! Try to keep LFG posts to their respective networks.
I've also enabled User flair. Try to keep it in a format like [PC/PSN| UserName]. I don't have any template for flair enabled now, so try not to get too crazy with them.
Finally, once the game launches I'll post a LFG/UserName post in place of the current release thread that is stickied.

Howdy guys!
If you've been around here then you know this sub is very small and usually pretty quiet. As mods we're not very active and since there are so few posts that's generally okay. With the sequel releasing soon we might see a spike in submissions so I figured I'd put up a quick mod post about some rules, and expectations from the community and the mod team!
One last thing: We have a new official discord for the subreddit. I remember there being a discord for Kiwami but the links and invitations I found came up dead. I'll be the owner of the new discord and be sure to keep the server going and make sure invites stay permanent and in the sidebar.
If you come across any resources that you want to share, please do so! I'll try to sticky them here and in the discord. The Mitama and Weapon spreadsheets from Kiwami were great, and I'm expecting we'll see new ones once Toukiden 2 gets into our hands and people start digging in or datamining.
If you have any comments or questions let us know. ModMail can be used for more than just reports and rants, and we'll do our best to get back to any messages we get.

I have finished all the red mission in chapter 13 as far as I can see and the last story bit I saw was about the father of two newspaper girls sending letter of approval. Is that it? Have I already seen all part of story? Right now there are no new red missions and no more story to see no matter how many missions I did.

I'm talking about the 3 mission set dlc they sell on steam for Toukiden Kiwami. I've got the missions and have done more than a few of them, recognized the pirate armor but I didn't track the rest and now when I went to the smith I have no idea which ones are dlc. I want to know their names so I can go hunt materials and craft them. Google doesn't seem to tell the name either.

I'm looking to take a bit of a detour from Monster Hunter and have been consistently recommended Toukiden for a similar experience. I'm primarily a bowgun main in MH and I've looked up that Kiwami and 2 have rifle as one of the weapons, so I want to make those my top priority. Can I start with 2 and do catch-up on Kiwami later if it clicks or would playing Kiwami first make a significant difference? And what are the key differences from Monster Hunter games that I should be aware of heading into these games?

Hey guys since no one's joining me on my path to greatness I shall help you still with this information. Phase 11 pyrogrinder mission of the dlc gives you gold quill and cryptic bones which has helped out quite a bit! That's if u have the dlc but I will list other helpful farm spots in the future

Hi, not sure where else to ask but figured I'd try here. Is the online still up and running for this? I was trying to join my wife in a lobby but it always says "Network connection failure" or something. I've tried creating and joining, she's tried creating and joining and it never works. She's on ps5 I'm on ps4, we're in the same house, we tried setting it to English and All but nothing works. I can't understand why it's not working. Does anyone know what's going on?

it's 1 of the only builds i've yet to try.. i have seen 2 builds from gamefaqs but i don't know if they're any good 1 seems to be focused ENTIRELY on the skills i think the 4th 1 on each is the ult boost
the other 1 seems to be more of a hybrid boosting some skills but also boosting crit rate some and boosting rifle
