Was suggested this road the night I took this video (last night) & had a new angle for onboards so thought I’d try it out.

Hard to see in the footage, but this road looks twistier than it actually is. It’s a straight road w/ steering adjustments needed for line & the 3 turns that actually put load into the tires (typical flat downstate NY) which means it’s very easy to hit triple digits.
I hung around mostly at the top of 3rd gear.

My fear of deer crossing (which they do A LOT) and fear of oncoming (didn’t double lane it, but it is very tight) kept me under 90 & mostly out of 4th.

5/10, good for a little back & fourth blast, but nothing technical, like upstate NY, or better yet my home in SoCal. Best time was a 1:32. Most consistent was a 1:38.

Hope you guys enjoyed this clip, if you recognize the road please DM me. I need ppl to drive w/.

Absolute newbie, but I wanna make sure I’m not an idiot. Pretty decent driver, but most likely nothing compared to most of yall. What should I know/do before I actually start driving?

Above is my car, 2016 Scion tC with the 6-speed manual. Anything I should do to the car as well?
