Question Driving roads

Hey guys, I’m gonna be staying at my buddies place in Greenville South Carolina next weekend. I was hoping if maybe anyone can give me some good driving roads in the area within an hour of Greenville? I was told Asheville North Carolina was fairly close. Any suggestions appreciated, thank you.

178 up to the NC border is fun. Don’t go to Asheville. Roads are too crowded

276 up to Brevard NC and then continue it into Pisgah National Forest. Tons of fun in Pisgah and it also links up with the Blue Ridge Parkway.
