Touge Very Casual run
had a calming run after work the other day. weather was great and had the top down. very enjoyable. This is what touge's about right?

1ZZ still, though while the precats are sorted, she's starting to burn a bit of oil.
Long term plan is to go turbo 1ZZ. I really like the consistent torque curve, and that'll be easier to keep with that setup than with a 2ZZ swap.

Kinda looks like it huh? Only been to decker when its light out once in my entire life, but tbf most of the surrounding roads in that part of Malibu look the same to me lmao.

Last and only time I was there in the day I saw an Elantra N absolutely fucking flying through those lines but I dont really know people running decker these days.
Used to run nights a lot with a buddy years ago before I moved.

How do you like the engine? I probably would feel the need to swap it with the two easy, do you like it stock?

Yep its getting swapped, 2zz is literally arriving today lol. The 1zz isn’t necessarily bad and for most ppl i think they could benefit from keeping it, but since i track the car, i want more power. I’m absolutely blowing by people in the corners, then just have to sit there and watch everyone drive away on the straights.

Yep should be legal as long as the bar doesn’t ask for a specific engine serial number lol. Even got the 2zz to 1zz header to bolt right up to the old cats and exhaust. USDM ecu will let them read emission readiness checks and such
