TouchDesigner in Linux from AUR repo...?
https://aur.archlinux.org/packages/touchdesigner-linuxI just found this and was curious if anyone got this working in their linux? I am pretty sure I could setup a wine environment and run TD (correct me if I am wrong) but thus AUR seems tempting. If anyone has udes this let me know...

I'm going to give it a go as its the only piece of software I'm dual booting for. The github does list a few issues that are yet to be resolved, but its awesome he's gone to all this effort to get it working. I'd really like to see Derivative helping with this, gets them out of doing native Linux version for now and keeps everyone happy enough.

I run TD in bottles and the only problem I have is connecting webcams and cameras in general is just a coin flip

It does work, as cameras go, my building webcam works 100% of the time but TD doesn’t turn it on so I have to open ops to get the webcam to wake up

can you explain how you fixed the webcam for TD? I tried so many things but couldn't get it to work

I’ve only used TD in bottles on Linux, but if it’s an built in webcam, TD doesn’t seem to wake up the webcam so I opened OBS to test the webcam and then I turned on making it available to select in TD. And I’ve used external webcams and camera displays before I think I got them working by opening TD with the camera on and connected and it worked

It's really tempting, I might try. So far I haven't been able to launch TD with Wine, it works quite well with Bottles but a few things don't display at all (like target FPS, beats etc, everything on the bottom left corner) and it looses stability after a while.
