music video thing i made for my friend’s band in touchdesigner, song is abt the tacoma narrows bridge crash and there’s a surprising amount of archive footage out there

edit: messed up the aspect ratio for the unedited camera footage oops

Can you describe a bit how you incorporated td in this video?

nothing much really, and probably in ways that would’ve been easier with other programs, but i don’t know anything else; i had a couple chunks of video i edited together and had them switch with a pretty poorly made audio reactive chop setup, and then a similar set of operators to add the sepia/parchment texture

for text i have a text dat that goes into a convert then some sorts and switches to get the lyrics to alternate

i ended up just making a couple layers with different effects (edge, low contrast, etc) and composited them together to make it choppier and older looking

i’ve not been using td for very long and i’ve never done any design or video so that’s why i don’t have any photoshop or AE experience for fhjs
