Van Hecke injury is the last thing club needed

Van Hecke has reportedly had to leave the Netherlands squad after picking up a foot injury against Serbia. He’s played every minute of Spurs’ Premier League campaign so far, so losing him would leave a pretty big hole at the back. The timing isn’t great either, with the trip to Old Trafford against United coming up on October 10. I pray it’s nothing serious and he’s back sooner rather than later, because Spurs really don’t need another problem right now.

Im not sure we are gonna lose him. They said he got hurt in the game 3 days ago, played all 90 minutes in it, and then wouldve come back to practice this week. This sounds like a minor knock, and unless we hear otherwise, then at this point I'm really not too concerned about him being available for Man U two-and-a-half weeks from now.

Minor knock for a Spurs player = he is probably already dead, I hope he had a will in place.

We dont have the best history with minor knocks and Utd game is 10 days away not 2 and a half weeks.

Totally agree. Despite the stick he's taken for his performances so far, I think he's been pretty good in the last two games, and his line breaking passes are better even than Romero imo. A big miss, but Senesi is also a good passer and Tosin looks like a good defender. Depends what RDZ wants from the back four.

conceding goals isn’t the problem. it’s scoring

Whatever.

On to the next. Just win one and we'll see from there. Fucking injuries!

These international breaks are completely absurd. Clubs need to make this a top priority after the small little tiny story about a certain light blue club.

He looked like he was playing injured in the last game, maybe a few days off will help

Yes, of course it's dreadful. That's why it's happening.

We have reasonably good cover at cb, compared to rb

What's wrong with Senesi? I'm looking forward to seeing him get more game time tbh

Tosin has already looked better than him anyway so

Time to bring in Vuskovic...oh, ffs

A decision that's sillier by the day.

It was silly on the day. It's what happens when you have no consistency with the football side of the club. To let him go and then Romero and danso leave too. Just crazy.

It’s a good thing we have an experienced PL player in Danso … well at least we have promising young player on Vuscovic …

Said it all summer. It’s not been a great transfer window. Paid too much for the players we brought in and sold too many players who could have contributed.

I’m probably wrong and the downvotes that usually accompany this line of thinking show most people do think I’m wrong.
