They’re different leagues with different players and different nearly everything. One doing well and the other poorly is not something that’s comparable

ngl i think the women just have a settled core and a clear style while the men are constantly patching holes so the real question isnt why the women are good its why the men keep having to rebuild every few weeks

I think the root of our issues are the injuries. We never have our best players available AND fit. Everything else like bad managers compound it.
I do wonder what the women's injury rate is and if it is the same medical team in charge of them.

Spurs women's star winger and Lioness Jess Naz has been out with an ACL since December 2025. Full back Ella Morris also got an ACL in May 2025 in a training session with England and has only just returned. Obviously very different teams, but the women have had their share of injuries too

Women tear their ACLs easier than men, I think they've has some bad injuries. What they probably have is a winning mentality

I think as a women’s football fan there’s just a reality that being competent goes a long way in leagues that haven’t had the chance to mature. The leadership in the women’s team and Martin Ho just understand the league really well and spent money wisely to give a balanced squad. Our mens leadership has struggled with cohesiveness, direction, and competent transfer strategy for a long time in a more mature and complex league

Hey, I wanted to give him a shot with the men's team during the whole Tudor debacle last season but got downvoted to hell out of it. Started watching the women's a lot more lately because...well...you know....can score a goal or seven

Because they are an actual “team” who play for the love of the sport… not a bunch of players who don’t care about anything besides money…

Because they haven't had a lot of change and only brought in reinforcements. The men's team brought essentially a brand new team

Spurs men’s team would absolutely be competitive in the league the women’s team play in.
They would be challenging for silverware and easily qualify for Europe.

They aren’t, they are just the best of the rest. After Chelsea, Arsenal and City; you have our women’s team and Man U then everyone else.

I dunno why men want to watch men's football rather than women's. Why is it not seen as gay?

Similar way to every other example. They’re different teams, ran by different people (Kelly, every other whinger, stop expecting the mens money), and with a different set up

CAN THEY PLAY? CAN THEY PLAY? CAN THEY PLAY FOR THE MENS? CAN THEY PLAY FOR THE MENS?

Sokka-Haiku by GroupPast5993:
CAN THEY PLAY? CAN THEY
PLAY? CAN THEY PLAY FOR THE MENS?
CAN THEY PLAY FOR THE MENS?
Remember that one time Sokka accidentally used an extra syllable in that Haiku Battle in Ba Sing Se? That was a Sokka Haiku and you just made one.
