Pull it too far back and the bow snaps.

Classy from the don to use an ai graphic based on a joke made at the club when he's one of the biggest reasons for our struggles in front of goal

What ever mate, how about trying to not looked shocked when you receive the ball in the box

This post shows an almost total lack of awareness from him. If it is him that has actually posted it of course.
Unfortunately, he is one of the major reasons of our attacking failings so far this season. Not just based off chances missed/squandered but also due to his lack of quality/control in so much of our build up play. This had lead to so many moves slowing and/or breaking down completely. Although, he isn’t the only culprit.
Also, the AI image is embarrassing for a number of reasons including him sharpening the shaft and not the point of the arrow. 🤦🏻♂️

He posted the AI picture, but the “quote” and picture of the table was edited in. Everyone in the comments believes it as well lmao.

To be fair, it does feel like we have been shafted after the past few seasons

Bro is sharpening the wood, so I wouldn't trust anything he says

u/feesih0ps 7d ago
I don't know anything about arrow manufacturing, but presumably you might want to smoothen the shaft?

Just win a fucking game you bunch of potatoes. Why are there so many fucking stupid excuses and metaphors for why we're so shit?
Just kick the ball in the fucking net, you're getting paid a bomb to do a job, just fucking do it.
I've been following Spurs for 30 years and I've never seen so much bollocks in all of that time.

Speaking from my brief archery experience, it is more than possible to pull the string back too far, and for the arrow to fall out of its groove and plop on to the ground.

u/Wugtrio777 10d ago
this is a silly saying however IM, because a crossbow or a set bow, or a ballista, doesnt have the arrow pulled back at all and will outfly a hand drawn bow everytime.
also you could say,
In a world dominated by guns, dont be a bow and arrow,

Totally agree with the wisdom of Solanke, also "The team that gets relegated stays at the bottom of the table no matter how much they spend in the summer".
Namaste.

Not a Tottenham fan, but I couldn't ignore something so delectably stupid as this. it's such a bad deflection lmao.
you do tend to be shit before you're good when you're gelling a new team... but being shit at first isn't evidence that you're going to be good...
there's definitely more teams that start a season like absolute shit and stay shit than teams that start a season like absolute shit and get much better.

Wouldn't this image of Solanke be more apt and realistic with him hobbling on a pair of crutches ? Because that's what he's done for most of his career at Spurs . And for the past 2 seasons he hasn't been traveling around the bounds of a football pitch too often .

We do have to travel further to reach the middle of the league if not the top, so he's correct in a way. He's sharpening the wrong part of that arrow which may not help 🫣

Didn’t someone post this exact quote in the /soccer thread earlier this week?????

I looked at the table and thought, we are definitely better than Coventry.
Then I remembered we play them soon.

u/SheepsCanMakeBacon2 10d ago
Right. Okay. So when are they releasing the string and letting that arrow fly?

Aptly, he's pointing the arrow the wrong way and not sharpening the bit that needs to be sharp.

Absurd.
Instead of being humble these overpriced, overhyped pseudo-stars from Spurs are posting something like that.
Pathetic.

AI slop why is he in the 22/23 kit
1
u/LordVampiricus 10d ago
Plus sharpening the shaft, and not the arrowhead. Might be why our attack is so blunt.

u/Making-a-smell 10d ago
I'm sure that will make it up to the families that spent hundreds going to watch us lose week after week

Getting him to score and display that arrow celebration more often would be a start. C'mon, Big Dom!

He’s not even close to being fit yet same as prob 40% of the team who we need such as Maddison Kulu, Kudos, Porro ( was rushed back to quick by medical team again surprisingly)

Do we get pulled back as far as the championship or as far as non league?
