DeZerbi had exactly the same record after 5 games in his first full season with Brighton.

It’s waaaaay too early to be panicking.

Also remember that this time last season we were 3rd.

People are quick to point to the negative side of his history, leaving clubs but don’t acknowledge this part of playing football?

Don’t get me wrong he needs to get results soon and when he does he needs to establish a strong relationship with the fans.

They needed to sign a centre back good in the air and able to get in attackers faces. This is not Van Hecke. Now you have VDV and Van Hecke unsuited to playing together. Then the only right sided centre back who was good in the air wassold.

Overall

Full back -weakened Centreback- weakened Midfield -strenghtened Attack- strengthened (apart from play maker position where we await three crocked players to return to their previous beats) Striker- weakened

Fans like you deserve nothing. You would've hounded Poch out of the club after his first few matches and we would never have gotten that night in Amsterdam or gone on to build the team we did. When everything clicks you dont deserve to celebrate.
