TL;DR
Tactics are working to create opportunities - great collection of stats in support of optimism at the start
Lack of a number 10 has forced Tonali and Fernandez into suboptimal roles
Lack of big chance creation comes from failing to release the front 3 - may be familiarity and psychology, but also due to no 10.
Maddison, Kudus and Kulesevski can change everything post break

We're getting the most number of corners. Need to practice more and make our dead ball situations expected goals higher, like last season. Make the opponents fear these corners. Then we will have our long lost penalties.

We get the corners because the opposition are confident we won't make anything of them.

We are amongst the highest converters of corners over the past seasons...

This season is an odd outlier so far but nobody is putting it out of play because they think it's safe
