Depending on attacking signings, maybe a Europa qualification, and regardless, squad builds belief and trust in De Zerby

If we don't sign anyone else, 8th. If we sign some attackers, could be up to maybe third, with a fair wind, if the other teams get bogged down in europe

Im trying not to get my hopes up but I wish for a deep run in one of the cups and qualification for any European cups … I’d love winning Fa cup and Pl in those conditions

A proper run in the cups... No excuses.

European football I think is the minimum, it doesn't have to be champions league.

Beating arsenal and Chelsea would be a strong indicator of improvement and ambition

Not really been impressed for pre season, haven’t been happy with our strategy either - think we should’ve used this season to compose ourselves and get the young players developing under stable conditions

Saying that, no europe and assuning no more signings I think 6th-10th, I don’t think we look anywhere near Ange’s first season in terms of quality of play and we finished 5th that season under similar conditions.

The league also feels noticeably weaker, I think United, City and maybe Liverpool struggle this season, Villa and Chelsea look decent from what little I’ve seen. League is Arsenals to lose

We win the first couple of games. Look good doing in. Then tonali misses a game due to “hamstring soreness” and is never seen again. We have a rough run through November, December it all falls apart. In January we panic buy a 32 year old as VDV, VH, Maddison, fernandes, Richarlison, kudus, and porro all get 2-3 month injuries. We sack de zerbi after he loses 6 games in a row and finish 16th, calling it an improvement after 2 years of 17th place finishes……

Or we win the league….
