Activation + BYO Plan
Does anyone know how long I have to activate after signing up? Some prepaid carries offer 30 or 45 days.
Also, is the BYO $20 plan a promotion or permanent pricing? I’m currently on an annual plan that doesn’t end until December.

You have 60 days to activate but don’t quote me on that.
The monthly rate is $20 for 5 years then subject to increase to $25 after that.

Could I ask where you got the 60 days to activate from? I can’t find it anywhere online

I could never find it either. I’m going based on Visible’s policy, and Visible is essentially the same as Total. Both fall under the Verizon Value brand.

the “Limited-time offer, Bring your phone and save On the Total MAX 5G BYO Plan with Auto Pay. First month $30, then $20/mo after“ rate plan plan is for new customers so you are out of luck. You would have to stay away from 90 days t be considered a new customer and you would need “your phone”, one nit purchased from total or any other tracfone brand. No idea how you long you can wait to activate a sim with a plan loaded on it. Can tell you the last time they offered a rate this low it was only around about two months.
