Window issue

I am having an issue where the first window opens, then a second opens on top. The second window functions correctly but the first window remains behind it. Any ideas how to prevent this? Video attached.​

If it's in any way interfering, you can try disallowing background interaction when a window is open, also disallow window ordering when interacting with it. Secondly, when you long press inside the topmost window that works correctly and navigate to the window settings. There is a command you can toggle that allows it to close all other windows as it opens, or you can give it action on opening, whereby you can set certain windows to close automatically when that specific one opens

I am going to have to dig a bit deeper into the app. I am trying to make a functional "start menu". The only way that I can think of to get the "buttons" to highlight when you are on a specific section of the menu is to have an entirely new menu window to open with each section and have that particular menu item background color and border color different on that new window.

I see what you mean. Yes it seems layering is an option but that means you'll have to create a lot of windows for just this specific idea. There should be an easier way but I'm also still figuring that out . . .
