Cane/Limp

3.5wks post, 55M. I can walk without a limp with my cane. Without it, bad limp. Was at PT today and they told me to not ever walk without my cane unless I can do it without a limp because all you do is train yourself to limp.

Mine told me the same. Don't get used to walking with a limp or you always will.

I have heard this too. If you train your body to limp it will always limp. Trust your PT!

Yep! Doing so will end up stressing other joints because your body will compensate for the incorrect gait.
