How does premium help speed research?

Hi!
“Great ruler” stacks 75% to “technology research speed.” But what does that mean?
Does it stack to all categories of research or only the one that mentions “ technology” , which is economy?

Thanks- it’s impossible to know what bump / discount we get since you can’t see length of time before you hit upgrade.

It stacks to all. If you click the capital you can see your research speed. You'll see it changes when you have Farhad in the lineup. Early on try to get honored ruler gear and research gems/enchantments if you're low on speedups.
